Another bike decision,help please
I am a 33 year old mountain biker who doesn't get out to mountain bike enough due to 3 kids and a business to run. I recenlty purchased a 2008 Cannondale Rush 5z and I hoped to make it out frequently to the trails. Unfortunately, I have finally realized that the only way I can afford the time to ride is if I incorporate biking into my daily routine (commuting, runs to the store etc.). My problem is I don't want to put a rack, mirrors and slicks on my cannondale, only to rip everything off on the weekend. I can't commute 10 miles in traffic and with the stuff I need to bring without the add-ons. I just spent $1800 to upgrade to a full suspension and honestly I can't imagine going back to mountain biking without it. I really don't want to spend a ton on a second bike. Any ideas out there?
