I would like to know the correct sizing for a bottom bracket on an 1983 Schwinn World Sport. If I could get an answer, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Take it to a bike shop. They'll be able to tell you what you need. Then you're required to buy it from them, because no fair not supporting them after they've helped you. But once you factor in shipping, it won't cost any more than buying it online.
