My conclusion from the photos is that all the bikes look cool.

Something about photographing them makes them desirable.

The personality of the owner comes through, too.

Got this last year for commuting and training on the weekends. Talladaga - 631 Reynolds - full ultegra. Just got the speedplay pedals - love those.

One of these at the moment, though I'm currently looking for a road bike to keep it company...

Well after 8 weeks of waiting, I finally picked up my new ride (serotta Legend TI) from the bike shop on Friday. Took 'er out for rides on Sat. & Sun. Don't know if it was me, the bike, or the rush of getting my first new road bike in 21 yrs, but I set a new personal best on the local hill climb (3.3 mi. / 1300 ft).

Here's a shot of the bike I took earlier today:

Nice one SteveE!

I'm riding a ca. 1993 Cannondale full-touring bike with a hodgepodge of old components. Currently it's stripped of racks and fenders in an effort to perk it up as a makeshift road bike. I have a '00 Paramount steel frame lurking in a box in my closet, but so far the only parts I have for it are a stem and a 9sp chain.

Best cx frame I've ridden. Light and responsive. The carbon fork is awesome and cuts huge amounts of weight-like a few pounds! The regular alloy Empella fork is really good too so I wouldn't mind it. It is designed as a racing frame so it doesn't really have a relaxed geometry or any eyelets for racks or even bottle mounts like a touring bike but I think it would be perfect for anything. Touring, road racing, CX, commuting...

Bikes: Too many to list comfortably

It's been a while since I've posted here. This be the new ride...

Giant TCR2

My mountain ride I'll need to get a new pic of but it's nothing
special - Mongoose Surge. It's what got me back into biking
after years away.

I ride a TCR Zero with Campagnolo Daytona, I had a 2000 ONCE but the frame got a crack in it during the Tour of Southland 2001.

A GT zr.3.0- the exact same frame as Team Lotto used to ride- with different components natch.

Also, a specialized Rockhopper, ca 1996.

And now building a Kona Jake the Snake Cross bike, still being assembled.

Pictures will follow. IN the meantime, listen to this beautiful music...

I do most of my riding on a homebuilt Greenspeed trike, but I also have a Schwinn mtn bike and an older Mongoose beater/commuter bike that in an earlier life carried me on several cross-state--and cross continental divide--tours.
