Painting a Bicycle
First and foremost, I apologize if this thread is in the wrong forum
I live in Maryland and wanted to have my Trek 6500 Mountain bike repainted. It is currently a purple/maroon color with the suspension fork being a yellow color. I like the fork color but I wanted the frame to be navy blue. The decals will be removed by me and I also wanted to have the wheels painted black. Does anyone know if this would be an outrageous cost? I am willing to spend up to $100 or less. Anyone have similar work done?

Check the Mechanics forum, they'll probably have more people who know how to do it.
I don't know if wheels can be painted. Remember that the rims are the braking surface, so they can't be covered with anything that's going to reduce friction or flake off.
