saddle change

I have a Trek 2100 that I have been riding for about 3 years. I never have liked the stock saddle that came with the bike, but never did anything about it. But over the past 6 months or so I have been having some numbness problems. So I decided to get a new saddle. Reluctantly I ordered a Nashbar cut out saddle. It was relatively cheap (I wasn't willing to pay 100 bucks for a saddle). I didn't have high expectations. I went on my first ride today. Wow was it more comfortable than the stock saddle. I realized that I hadn't been comfortable for years. And for this ride at least no more sleeping giant. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. Sometimes we just get used to things and don't realize how uncomfortable they really are. And the relief from the numbness was a real gift.

I test rode the 2100 and own a 4300. Bontrager saddles suck.

Have fun riding comfortably!
