I have a heck of a problem finding cycling jerseys to fit me. European makers are all for the most part out of the question. What I am looking for is a company or two that make jerseys for a 54 inch chest. All that I have seen seem to stop at 52" for the most part.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't thing there is any help. I'm a full 52 and everything I find is tight.

If you do not mind loose fitting then go with a DH or MX type jersey. You can even give Under Armor (either loose fit or the tight stuff) a try. Since their stuff is made for athelets (other then cyclists) they make larger sizes and their lg, xl, and so forth are actually what they say. Not like cycling where a 3X fits like a med.

If you do most of your ordering on line I find this place has good deals for U.A. clothing.

I don't know what kind of jersey you are interested in but I'm in the same situation. I haven't tried one yet but they carry "relaxed fit" jerseys at www.velowear.com. Granted, the largest size is a 52 but I'm not sure if the relaxed fit is just in the stomach area or the shoulders as well. They carry some at my lbs and I plan on trying one on this weeked. If not.. Wouldn't it be a terrific business idea to specialize in bike clothing for big folks.

Yeah, I don't get it. At least in the USA not everyone is built like Gilberto Simoni (who probably wears a large). Why some of the US cycling wear companies do not follow standard American sizing is beyond me. In street clothes I wear an XL or XXL depending on the maker.

I'm in the same situation. I've also found that most cycling jerseys do not fit very well. I have found that Fox Racing in an XXL fit's me pretty well. I can fit into their XL, but it's a little snug.

I've found their polyester jerseys keep me cool. Even the MX style long sleeve ones. I also bought one of their "Aero" jerseys. It's a perforated (or vented) poly jersey. This works great in the summer.

Granted, these are more mountain bike jerseys with the bold colors and graphics, but heck, whatever works.
