Slight Math Error

Rocket scientist orders 21 foot custom built bicycle frame
Fork to ship separately
PASADENA CA— Nearly three years after a similar metric conversion error sent a NASA Mars orbiter plunging instead into an orbit around the Sun, a scientist and weekend bicycle racer working at the same NASA laboratory has received a 21.4 foot (652 cm) custom built bicycle frame. Mars Lab Director of Astrodynamics Dr. Jeremy L. MacKenzie was unavailable for comment, however his estranged wife says that MacKenzie ordered the bicycle frame last December from Italian frame maker Bellesi. "They needed the dimensions as metric. He was up all weekend," she told reporters. "This is just like the time he screwed up the damned spark plugs on the Saab."

Maybe he's building the world's oddest looking chopper?

Yeah, there's no way any frame builder would build a frame more than ten times the size of an average bike, not without at least triple checking the numbers first. And I'd be quite surprised if any of the NASA scientists involved with that Mars project ordered any kind of custom bike from any Italian framebuilder, let alone a 21 footer. Sorry to urinate on your precession

Hillyman all the stories in that column where jokes read them carefully. And any reputable frame builder would question the specs on a 21' frame.
