conversion of 4 bolt pattern to 3 bolt?
Hello. I am fairly new to road cycling. I found a very nice pair of Adidas Frosco cycling shoes but they have a 4 bolt pattern designed for Time Equipe pedals. Is it possible to somehow convert/adapt the 4 bolt pattern to a 3 bolt pattern? My current pedals are your basic entry level 3 bolt style pedals... they are Shimano SPD-SL pedals. I already have shoes but I came across the Adidas Frosco shoes and I really like them but I won't purchase them if I can't use them.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me if it is possible to adapt the bolt pattern. If so, please be specific as to what is it called and where I can purchase it. Thanks!!!

Sorry I can't be more specific, but there is likely an adaptor available. My road shoes use an adaptor for going the other way(3 bolt to 4 bolt) manufactured by the pedal company. I would start by seeing if shimano makes the adaptor and go from there.
