is this a good deal?
A friend of mine wanted to know what I thought about this bike. I thought I would ask you guys since you know more than me.
He doesn't race, he just wants a bike that works and can hit gravel trails.

He doesnt know much about bikes so he wouldn't really be able to fix much. Would he need a pump for these tires?

I'd stay away. Chain and cassette look rusted, so I'd assume other parts probably are too. I also hate that type of shifter, but that might be my personal preference.

It looks like it needs a new chain, but other than that as long as it shifts good and is road worthy, I would say it is worth $100. Yes he will need a pump and probably a few other tools.
