Well I just ordered the M520's and a pair of M076 shoes hopefully they come in around the middle of this week. Thanks for all the input about the pedals.

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
Terrible, terrible, terrible choice. They'll turn you off from cycling FOREVER. You'll wish you had a Big Wheel trike again.

I checked out the CB's, but they were more expensive and I had not heard that much about them, while I heard a lot of good reviews about the M520's. I guess I'll just have to wait until Wed. to find out.

I suspect that road pedals from a company that mostly does off-road was a bit of a well-kept secret. That said, I have enjoyed my 3 1/2 years with the Quattros. They work just like they are supposed to without a problem. To me, the fact that you can't adjust them is a plus. Adjustments invite tinkering. I have never seen a bad review of the Quattros. There are always some things that some people don't like, but the general consensus is that the pedals work as advertised (positive engagement, virtually no accidental unclipping, consistent operation). However, my response to the discontinuation is that I have a set of BeBops on order...
