I have used Air Zound a few times to ward off dogs. So far it has worked for me. I let out a long toot ( its much more than a toot actually ) so far it has literally stopped them cold. It hurts my ears, so I can only imagine what the vastly more sensitve ears of a dog feel.

Dog threads are the best because everyone fancies themselves as doggie psychologists and professes to know what the dogs are thinking.

Most dogs will stop chasing with a simple 'STOP'.
I had one pesky dog that would wait in the weeds only to jump at my wheel. One day he jumped out of the ditch to give chase... and got hit by an oncoming car.
Natural selection.
