Being a Bike Messnger in Los Angeles?
I have been unemployed for a while, and was wondering if anyone know or has an idea how I could become a bike messenger in LA. I don't know how well that works here in the land of cars, but if anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it.

Go downtown and ask them. I take my bike on the train down there, then ride around. I usually see them across from the library. But if you bike around in that area, I'm sure you will see a few of them, then just ask them.

Didn't email and fax kill bike messengers? We used to have a few around here, but there aren't any left that I know of. They were pretty territorial--if times are tough, I don't imagine the guys who are still hanging on are going to be helpful toward a noob.
