Need to Vent@! Nashbar made a bubu!

ok, i place the order last saturday and today i called them and they told me it was shipped on this tuesday. so i'm all happy and excited only to find out.... they shipped it to my work address and put it as home delivery???? what the!

i specified for them to ship to a business address and even double checked to make sure it's not going to be residential. so now... fedex ground will deliver on a saturday... so either i can just come to work and stay here till fedex ground come.. or i'll have to wait till tuesday for them to redeliver. sigh... what a day..

Can't you pick it up at Fed-Ex?

nah... Fedex Ground doesn't operate that way. they operate out of a warehouse (which is across the street from my work place) and they don't allow pick ups. on the regular fedex service allows that. also.. fedex ground opens from Tuesday - Sat only.

Maybe you can get it changed from Residential to Business or something. Call Fedex and see what they can do. Or call Nashabar and complain enough until they get it changed for you.

well, i've tried to talk to fedex about it.. and they said they can't change it to business because even if they put a note in to the driver.. they will just end up delivering it on tuesday instead of trying to deliver it on saturday.

as for complaining to nashbar.. tried that.. they just said OPs sorry. they said i can return it so they can ship it again, which i thought was really stupid.

so now, i guess i can only come to work on saturday and sit at the parking lot like an idiot till fedex shows up. sigh~ no more nashbar! this is my first and last experience with them... so sadden~

It's been my experience with FedExGround that I've been able to have the delivery put on 'Will Call' and go pick it up at the FedExGround station. No problems.
