Is this worth the trade?

I replied to this ad on CL:

I'm offering up my 2002 Cannondale F500 Mountain Bike in exchange. I haven't ridden it at all since I bought my Motobecane at the start of the Summer. Really got bit by the road biking bug. We're meeting on Friday after work to check out each other's bikes.
Does that seem like a fair trade? Here's a pic of mine.

Looks like a good deal. The Trek is in the same price tier as your mountain bike. You can compare parts and original prices at https://www.bikepedia.com/Default.aspx or by googling them.
