first time on rollers today...

i picked up a used set of rollers on craigslist. they came with little bumpers for the front wheel.

i feel like i'm learning to ride a bike all over again. i found that the best way to stay upright was to un-train my brain from its natural reactions to danger:
(1) don't look down
(2) if you're going down, pedal faster
(3) it's actually easier if i don't start holding a wall.

i went from holding onto a wall like OMG OMG OMG to watching TV in the middle of my living room in just about an hour. pretty awesome.

Rollers are fun If nothing else they will bust your chops for bad riding technique, and teach you a good smooth pedal stroke. Let us know when you are ready for Roller Races.
