Apology

We (Pete Clark and Little Big Man--one and the same) apologize to those of you who were led astray. We (I) only meant to make all of you

Can we be friends again, you, me, and Pete Clark?

It wasn't you LBM or Pete. I was gonna reply to your post, (in a smart-a$$ way of course,) but it somehow went astray before I could. I think maybe cabin fever is getting to some of the biking folks. I know it is me!

I wasn't offended at all, BUT I know the players involved, and that makes a difference! I can see how members who haven't had a chance to be that familiar with the different personalities might take offence--just as, reading some of my posts, they might think I'm a GROUCH.

Of course, in the latter case, they'd be right.

Is this for that "I rode with Pete" thread? I saw it earlier and thought it was hilarious. But I was aware that the two of you --Jekyl&Hyde-- were operating under a full moon and not responsible for your actions.

I didn't see any of the responses; so am not aware what kind of negative comments it received, but I thought it funny enough to share with my family at the dinner table.

Thank you Pete! ...and that goes for your friend too.

LittleBigMan you have shown just what a big man you are by apologising. But as for Pete Clark - forget it.

It was nice of you to try and apologise on his behalf but I really think he should post his own apology. Why should you carry the can for his mistakes?

(I knew the original thread smelled fishy but it sucked me in anyway. Say hello to Pete for me.)

I agree with Jon. New and short time members might get the wrong impression about BikeForums.

I didn't take offense and like ljbike I thought is was amusing, to a point. But in this case, I think too much of a good thing is too much.

Just my too cents.

Pete and LBM, your apology is accepted. Most of us know you and love you. Please don't take offense to any of our comments about your posts. Just keep riding and posting.

If I hadn't flamed myself so badly earlier, I would be in a better position now to stick up for myself!

Ditto. I was going to have my alter-ego post this, but I can't find him...

(THIS IS A JOKE, sort of.)

Today, LittleBigMan was critically injured in a Bikeforums accident.
After some painful decision-making, his family (Pete Clark) has decided to remove him from life-support.

Mr. Clark has also requested that instead of flowers (or handgrenades), any money set aside for that purpose be donated to Bikeforums.

Please be sensitive to him at this time of great personal loss.

Thank you.

(Go ahead, Joe, take LBM off life-support...just don't unplug is both! )

OK, I just made a donation in LBM's memory. Seriously!
