My new cage.

Yeah, okay, after almost a year of not owning a car I picked one up, a steal, a 96 Dodge Caravan, that work used to carry the druggies around, now it is a way cool sag wagon, that I want to pimp out with in reason. Anyone own a van cage that they've pimeped to be a rolling bike station? I know I want to get a roof rack, and set the interior for mobile wrenching. One of the ideas behind this was the road trips to brevets over the next couple years to get ready for the Paris Brest Paris in 07. Heck even get down to IA for RAGBIA, or the Rockies. There's a little ride in AZ I'm interested in, February, "24 hours of Hell." I have family that lives down there, so I was thinking of mixing pleasures. Oh and Burning Man, I don't know why, but I am drawn to that. I'm also interested in AL's IdidaBike. Only you have to qualify in another ride before taking that one on.

Bikes: Cannondale R600, Gary Fisher Tassajara

Depending on the engine, chrysler products are very receptive to turbos. You could really haul ass out there to Burning Man.

On the down side, Caravan's are notorious oil burners. Although I loved the vehicle, it was great when the kids were home, or to take camping, I couldn't deal with the trips to the shop to try stop the blue haze.
