Nope, but a couple of us in Minneapolis went for an after midnight run! Was a blast! We were all on fixies too. Maybe make it a regular thing!

temp - sorry I missed this thread until this morning. I actually posted a similar one in another forum. Anyway, was that a great ride or what? Talk about excellent weather!
And it's always inspiring to look around and see nothing but cyclists! I had a new rider with me and I think he might just be hooked. The camaraderie and fun in exploring your city after midnight was a great time. For all those who live in Denver and have never done this ride - it's definitely worth it...

I wish it was a monthly thing - that would be incredible - but right now it's just an annual ride. More info can be found here: www.moonlight-classic.com. This year they had 5,200 cyclists participate! It was one of the most enjoyable rides I've done this year, although it could've been longer.
Kudos also to Denver's finest (who have been suffering a bit of bad PR lately) for keeping all of us riders safe and moving along the open course.

They have a similar ride in Montreal at the beginning of June a couple of days before the Tour de l'Ile. I think it is about 30 km. I have done it a few times. The bystanders along the route cheering the bikers also adds to the fun.
