tires, cheap

I am looking for tires for my redline conquest which I will be using for riding in the metro parks, which have dirt trails as well as paved and riding around the city. I thought these might be ideal https://centurycycles.com/product/ser...re-53476-1.htm:

Seems expensive for what you get. I'd expect the Nashbar Streetwise at $10 or the Panaracer High Road V at $13 to work at least as well for that application.

I ride those tires, and they have been bullet proof.

They are not light, but they get the job done.

On a humorous note, if you find some very smooth surface (like a BB court or a very smooth parking lot) and do some slow sharply leaning turns on a quiet day, you can hear the sound as the inverted tread moves across the surface. It sounds like a series of suction cups quickly attaching to and detaching from the surface.

They have lasted me well, and do good for either pavement or packed gravel... I can't comment on how they compare to other similar tires.

No flats yet using them for a couple of thousand miles.
