Mounting a Roof Rack to a Flatbed Trailer (Newbie)
I am wanting to mount a roof rack that does not require tire removal (IE King Cobra, Raptor from Yakima) to a flat bed trailer with a wood floor. would i be able to just drill and attach it directly to the floor? Would the stabliity be the same?

Most of the rack makers will have feet that have bolt holes designed for mounting on an RV, I'd get those. I'd drill holes and use through bolts, its too easy to strip out screws. I just rebuilt the roof on my old camper and replaced every screw with a through bolt.

Unless you already own a trailer and/or a stash of roof rack stuff that sure sounds to me like an expensive way to do it.
