Difference between tube sizes?

What is the difference between a 700x19-26C and a 700x19-23C tube? The 26 is what's on my bike now, but I broke off the tube stem, so I was going to grab the tube off of my other bike, and I saw that was the only difference between them. Thanks for any help. I'm not real familiar with tubes.

Edit: I forgot to mention that my tires are 700x23C. I figured a 23C tube would fit fine since the 26C that was in there worked just fine as well, but I wanted to make sure and figure out how this stuff works.

You match the tube with the tire.
If you had a 26 in a 23 someone messed up bad.

Enjoy

Width. 23 is narrower.

Hmm, that's weird. I bought the bike used and that tube had worked fine for as long as I've had it. I'm guessing the front tube is probably the same and it's still fine. Either way, the 23C tube is working fine, so no more worries.

its a range. you can you use the 19-26 in a 23 tire but you cant use the 19-23 in a 26 tire. presumably the 19-26 is more elastic.
