...or is it just me? The old version was a bit clunky, it's true, but it worked nicely for the most part. It seems that the update focused on aesthetics, without considering function. The problem is that the slick new user interface really isn't all that slick. Further, things like the gear tracker haven't even migrated over yet - you have to go back to the classic version (which I wish would automatically load, anyway).

OK, enough of this.

Hmmm, I hated it when it was in pre-beta or whatever, but Firefox and Flash were not being team players at that point in time. I've been enjoying the new version of late.

You might be able to bookmark from someplace in the "classic" area and use that bookmark to enter the site.

eh, I think it's alright. It's definitely different, but it's sort of like facebook updates. Every time facebook changes something, everyone goes crazy about how they hate the new format. A few weeks later, no one cares anymore

I don't mind it so much but it's January in Upstate NY and I am not really inclined to ride so I have only used it twice so far. (once for an actual ride and once to map a ride I want to do when the weather allows it)

The new mapmyride works a lot more like ridewithgps so I guess I like it. Ridewithgps will go down for a day or two when flash updates on my computer. when that happens I simply go to mapmyride where I have duplicate maps. Plus my Iphone doesn't like ridewithgps much.

I've not been overly pleased with any of the mapping systems I used- they all work great part of the time, and then have problems with certain things that get very irritating.

I'd rather ride my map than map my ride.

I gave up on it the *last* time it was updated. It became incredibly inefficient for me to use. Haven't been back since. Maybe they returned to their old format in some ways?

For some reason I'm not allowed to view the maps so I've stopped using it.
