Since there's no chopper/cruiser section, I thought I'd post these here. The first is an old Ross frame. Add a 26" rear wheel and 24" front wheel.A sissy bar, banana seat and h/bar I had lying around and...presto...an adult size Schwinn Fastback look alike. The second started out as a Montgomery Ward frame I bought at a garage sale for $5.They were made by Roadmaster.I built up a 24" rim with a Shimano 3 speed coaster brake hub and 2.3" tire. The front is a 26" with 2" tire. The fork is from Electra with a 15" h/bar.I ordered a leather cruiser seat w/chrome crash rail and skull grips but they're not in yet.The stick shifter is what makes this unique.Chrome stubby fenders complete the look.Hope you like the pics.Anybody else have anything similar?Maybe enough for a chopper/cruiser forum?

good job on taking those bikes, making a project and making it fun. How do they ride?
If only I saw one of these Kona's for sale around here...I'd be like Hank Hill on his lawnmower for sure.
Not quite practical around these parts though.

Thanks. They both ride pretty good. The blue one has a real comfortable riding position. Seat on the red one is a little harsh but not too bad. If you like the Kona Chopper, check out the Giant Stilletto and the Electra Rat Fink and Jeremy bikes. Later

I've got one of the new Stingray's. Not built for an adult to ride. Too short, knees hit h/bar. They're supposed to be making a full size version. Also hard to get replacement parts for (tires, tubes,rims,etc.).

lol! I had a deam last nite that I actually got that bike I posted above, but when I sat on the damn thing there wasn't enough legroom.
So I guess technically it was a nightmare
