Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Worst of the Worst

I've decided it's valets. Always rushing, usually a young inexperienced driver, not familiar with the car they are driving and allowed into the bus/taxi lane.

Which type of driver recieves the most hatred from you?

I was run off the road today by a huge SUV... as it passed me i saw a sticker in the back window that said "W 04" It was driven by a soccermom/trophy wife.

I would say Jersey Drivers in SUV's on Philly Streets are the worst drivers. the "W 04" sticker on the back was just to add insult to injury.

Older full-size trucks (F-150 types) with nascar (or as I say, asscar) stickers on them. The worst!

Its not really a specific car, rather its the driver that acts like they are doing you a favor by waving you through a stop sign after you have stopped and its your right of way.

Bikes: Cannondale super V 500, Bianchi Piaggio(hopefully getting a new road bike when I get some money)

SUV + Driver + cell phone + coffee + makeup(not discriminating here, men can wear makeup too ) + eating + driving with knees + speeding = me getting pissed off.

Bikes: Crust Romanceur, VO Polyvalent, Surly Steamroller, others?

I had some very close calls riding in some very ghetto areas today. It's a whole different world. When 50% of your attention is constantly on the broken glass on the road and 50% is on not getting nailed by someone blowing a stop sign or talking on a cell phone, well, its not a very fun ride. Almost got run into a curb, parked car, or moving car about 5 times as drivers decided that the far right of the street (parking space or bike lane) was the fast lane to get around traffic. Also saw a pretty crazy hit-and-run.
I'm definitely with ostro on his choice though. The people who are just about to blow a stop sign and then stop at the last second after making me do some sort of life-threatening skid-stop to avoid them then wave me through just... argh. Drive the way you would normally, and then at least I would know what the hell you are going to do!
Sorry, put in a lot of miles today on bad roads and in questionable areas, and had to deal with a lot of crap. Hope no one minds the rant.

Bikes: Can't stand the damn things...

You want rants? You got it.

My least favorite driver is the mother ****er who leaves the bar and takes me out, shattering my jaw and ripping off half my face. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...hlight=hit+run

Second least is the **** on the cell phone who damn near killed me. Post #9 on this one.

You know what the best part was?

My lip was completely split open underneath my nose for a few inches. The nurse asked me how I was doing, so I shoved my tongue up through the gap and said, "Well, I can finally touch my nose with my tongue."

20-something lads in 10+ year old Commodores, especially if they've got a few of their mates along for the ride. I'm working late tonight; I'm sure I'll see at least one of them.

Bikes: Surly Karate Monkey commuter build

I'll agree that the soccer mom in her SUV talking on her cellphone scolding her kids is probably the worst of the bunch. She's barely paying attention to the road and those of us on bikes aren't exactly big and obvious to her. They don't pay attention when backing out in parking lots and are probably most likely to blow through red lights & stop signs.

Audis, if brands come to play. Driven by IT scum. Also 'White van guys', e.g. angry redneck construction/plumbing/renovation contractors, always in a hurry and very pissed off.
