Ok, I'll save you the effort and just tell you. It looks like Performance has ended their 20% off coupon deals. Seems they never intended the coupon use to be widespread (and thanks to this forum it is/was). I understand their side of things but on the flip side, they did get a whole lot of business from me thanks to that coupon.

Not getting the 20% means I will either have to wait longer or lower my specs - eith of which sucks.

Yeah, it does suck. I was lucky enough to get my Polar S725 and Mavic Cosmos wheels using the 20% code. Hopefully they'll run a similar deal sometime soon. We're all bummed.
You were one of the last to get that deal then.

It was great when they would price match and give 20% off.....that was unbeatable! (but didn't last long
)Are you sure the 20% off coupons are dead? LOL.....I bet you they got a lot of people to sign up for Team performance with those coupons.

They told me on the phone on Monday (IIRC) that they coupons are most definitely dead. "That coupon wouldn't 'voom' if you put 20,000 volts through it!" (apologies to Monty Python)

Maybe that is why their shipping has been so slow? Trying to make the 2nd day shipping for team performance members enough of a draw???

It isn't much, but 6000395 seems to be good for $10 off. Not sure of the specifics. I was planning on ordering a Fluid2 Trainer this weekend using the 20% off coupon... I guess the days of combining pricematches, the 20% coupon and double performance points are over
It saved me quite a bit of money, but I bought a lot of stuff I didn't need.
Also, I don't know if it really known here or not, but you can get 3% FatCash back from Fatwallet.com. Check it out for more details.

That's too bad. I used to use those 20% off coupons and combine it with a sale they'd be having, and I was saving tons on the big ticket stuff. I wonder if nashbar.com also doesn't use the coupon codes anymore either.

I used code 6000404 today (11/12/04) and received the twenty % discount. It doesn't show the discount on the "Total" price, but it shows the discount under the "amount billed to credit card". If they end up not honoring it (like I've read on other posts), I will dispute it with my credit card company. The email they sent me as confirmation shows the discount.

That's usually how it's done- it confused me when they did it like that too. But when I called Performance, they explained that they will only bill the amount minus the 20%, and it would show up on my receipt and my credit card, and that's exactly what happened.
Glad to see you were able to squeeze the discount a little longer, though.

Be cautious! I, along with the rest of you spent major $$$ over the last several months by combining accumulated team points and 20% codes. Saved mad cash by doing so (the big ticket items are great when on sale, use a 20% code and kick the team points in as well.)
For instance, I got an Easton EC90 SLX full carbon fork (Eastons best) for basically ~ $220.00 shipped. That's like taking candy from a baby.
But just earlier this week I ordered a Mavic open pro / ultegra hub wheelset for a nice strong backup set along with an SRAM 11-23 cassette. I had 1535 team points, and used 6000405 code for $10 off. Everything looked great on the email confirmation, ~ $247.00 shipped 2-day.
Low and behold, they charged my debit card the full boat & more (as the printed receipt that came with my order showed as well, ~ $275.00 shipped.) They applied the team points, but no $10 off via the code and the shipping price was $18.00 higher than quoted at checkout / email receipt! I had to "work" with customer service over the phone for 15 minutes to get it to the price the email quoted me. She stated they "don't allow combining team points with coupons." Right, I've done this a dozen times or more in the last 3 months. "I can make a one time adjustment for you today, but we can't do this again." Whatever lady, just "get'r done!"
Sad to say, but the rollercoaster ride for uber cheap prices from Performance is dead. Fun while it lasted.......
I probably never would have became a team member if not for the killer 20% codes flying around the net on a consistent basis (thank you all for the major cash saved by finding and posting said codes.) Most of Performance regular prices are not all that great, sometimes rediculously overpriced.

I think that Performance's orders grew too fast for their system given the coupons codes, and associated discounts. Therefore, the system broke down on a few of us.

Thanks Koffee for the code. I used today (11/13). Bot the Spin Doctor/Truing Stand combo. Was $164.99 in the catalog. Used the discount code plus my team points...walked away at $113!!

Whoops! Chigirl, that wasn't me that gave out that code- it was iumccain! But I'm sure they'd be more than gracious for you thanking them through me indirectly!
Anyway, I just started going through my old emails- right about the time I notice they stopped doing the codes, I noticed that they would send out emails to me saying "bring a copy of this email in to your performance store to save __% on purchases!". So I think they figure it's harder to disseminate a full email than a coupon code. What we all need to start doing is checking through our emails for these new emails they send out where they say to bring in a copy of the email, then do what I did the last time we got a major sale from Performance and copy the email into a post on bikeforums. People can print out the emails and bring them into performance and still get whatever the sale is that's being advertised in the emails.

The problem is, there aren't codes anymore. There are only emails that say "bring this email in to receive X% off your purchases". Codes do not exist anymore, unless you can find an old one that still works that they haven't deactivated yet.
