Saddle rant

Someone tell me why saddle manufacturers/retailers do not list saddle dimensions? I don't care whether its made of dual density foam, honeycomb gel, horsehide, or concrete or whether it has dual testicle cut outs.....I need to know whether its wide enough to fit my sit bones. I can't believe they expect you to shill out $100 on a product whose usefuleness is dependent upon how wide it is and they don't provide that information.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

End of rant.

Look at Specialized or Fizik as well. Both have a device to measure your sit bone width to recommend a saddle width. Also, most good bike shops allow you to return a saddle within a reasonable period of time if you don't like it. On-line stores like Competitive Cyclist, and others, as well.

Specialized does as well. They make 130, 143, and 155 mm saddles
