Chopper bikes seem to be the up and coming fad bike.

Check with IE Cycles out of California. They make good chopper bikes- custom made to your specifications. Felt also makes chopper bikes. They have a Felt Sycthe and the Felt Fuller. Both seem to be outrageously priced.

I got a flyer from Performance. They have a chopper bike for about $150 they're selling. I'm thinking of getting one for my older nephew.

A buddy of mine and I built this a few years ago. It's a combo of new parts, old parts, found parts, and scrap metal. We built a second one just last year for him, but I don't have a pic of that one.

If anyone here did the MS Ride in October like I did, they saw one of the coolest bikes ever. The guy had a low rider chopper style fixie with a red-white-and-blue gas tank and everything. It was amazing. Of course, my first thought was "How is he going to make the climb on that thing at Fort Tryon?" but nonetheless a classic bike with a classic look.

The issue of Cycling Plus UK from October had a whole section devoted to the lowrider phenomenon in England. This one ain't goin' away any time soon...
