Looking for a good backpack/sack/bag
Here's the deal... I have a '72 Schwinn. It will be used primarily for commuting to university starting in the Spring. But will also be doing family rides. I need to be able to carry textbooks, a laptop, and my road tools (patch kit, cone wrenches, tubes, etc.), and will probably be strapping a floor pump to the outside of said pack as well.
I am looking for something under $50 and not awfully ugly. I would love to maintain the vintage style with a type of canvas bag or the sort. Have seen one at Urban Outfitters for $38, but it only came in black and olive drab. I would like grey or khaki, preferably.
But then there are daypacks/Patagonia packs that have so much utility...
Anyone have some suggestions?
