If you are happy it is worth what you paid for it...

Values vary by part of the country and desirability of the bike.

Is that a setback seatpost, or is it just bent? Might want to fix that...

I dunno, letsay about 300$ worth, but I don't think I'd pay more than 200$.
Depends on drivetrain and hub wear.

It's gotta be bent, otherwise the saddle height couldn't be lowered at all. I agree it needs to be replaced. I wouldn't trust it as it is. And you have to wonder how it got that way, and whether that act caused any other damage to the frame. But in terms of appearances from a single photograph, it looks like a nice, upper-middle level steel bike that looks to be otherwise in decent shape. Miyatas were nice bikes. But $ value? I couldn't say.

I think it's a Team Miyata from the early nineties with some nice Dura Ace bits on it. Might be thrashed though on account how it got that weird seatpost looking like that.

I'm happy for what i paid.

Its a setback seatpost. I just got it lowered all the way down because it was a bit to big for me.

So its worth around $300? Thanks everyone

A couple of questions:

What model of shifters, brakes and derailleurs are on there?
How does it fit?
How much did you pay?
