Jersey Sizing... School The Uninformed
I am looking for a jersey, but don't know a thing about sizing on them. Apparently there are different types of fits.
What I am looking for is a comfortable fit. Not too baggy, and not real tight. Snug about the shoulders is ok, but looser around the middle. I don't want it all flappy, sloppy-like, but don't need it painted on either. And I want long-sleeved.
I am hoping to find something Irish/Ireland and want to be armed with sizing info before I order.
Edit: I just found a thread pertaining to this very subject. Sorry... did it kind of backwards. Ask first then search. Forum dyslexia.
Chime in with any wisdom you might have though.

I have the red version https://www.boure.com/8605rd.html, very good quality jersey I wear year round. Sizing is true for bare skin, a little snug with under-layers, longish sleeves, forgiving around the mid section for us "belly breathers".

Yep. I have small jerseys that are too loose and large jerseys that are snug, and I'm pretty average in height, weight and proportions. If you're fussy about fit, you need to it on.

Only way to know is to try them on. Some lines are realistically sized, others seem to base sizing off the average European pro racer. I've acquired a collection of cycling clothes in XL, 2XL and 3XL that all fit about the same.
