And please - like you'd be OK with someone breaking part of your bike and excusing it with "mistakes happen".
But they did fix it right? I have had contractors break items in my house, I had a delivery guy drop my new tv. Its never pleasant but as long as they fix the problem... I forgive and forget.

So doing a crappy job and breaking parts is OK as long as you fix it after you get caught?

I hope I never mistakenly do business with you and your fine honest attitude.

i am happy for you. I would someday like to be perfect in all the things I do also but untill then I will do what I can to fix the situation after I make mistake. No where in any of her posts did she say she "caught" them or that they tried to hide the fact that it happened.

Personally, I might be inclined to take another approach.

I would look up the bike manufacturer's web site, locate their 'contact us' link, and fire off an inquiry to them, concerning what your shop said. Ask the company if that is actually true, or if it is a training issue for the shop's mechanics. I am betting that the company will say that it is a training issue, and (ideally) that they will have their sales rep contact the shop and arrange additional hands on training. Either that or the company will pull out of the shop in the not too distant future.
