Wheel Master and Weinmann the same?

Hey all,

New to the forum here. I'm looking to replace the rear wheel on my Fuji Crosstown 3.0. It appears to be a Weinmann 700x35. In searching for those online, I keep running into Wheel Master wheels. The pictures seem identical. Are they the same company?

Thanks!

My guess , wheelmaster is the wheel builder's company name..

Weinmann is a known manufacturer of rims and other aluminum bike parts.

So the builder can use Weinmann or another company's rims..

I can't tell for sure. Weinmann makes rims, and I pull up a Chinese website for them. It could be some other company using Weinmann rims to build wheels, or it may just be that Weinmann sells finished wheels under one name, rims under another. But I'm not locating a site for "Wheel Master" itself, which leads me to believe it's not an independent company.

Thanks for the quick response! That's kind of what I figured. Wish I could find something about Wheel Master. They seem to make wheels to OEM specs but they're cheap. Maybe a little TOO cheap...

They're a big supplier to shops. Chances are good that's what you'll get if you have a low-end wheel replaced.
