On Monday I bought a 1976 Motobecane Mirage for $25 at my Goodwill. The first halfway decent bike I've seen there in six years. You just have to look every now and then.

Bikes: Ritchey P-series prototype, Diamondback, Nishiki Triathelon Pro.

1995 lugged, internal cable routing chromoly Nishike Triathelon bike.
Mostly complete Shimano 600 group, top condition, brand new Scott\ mathauser pads, new IRC cross country tires on Mavic rim, Suzue hubs.
Frames perfect.

$69.99 + tax.

Problem is it's 64 cm, I'm 5.9. I bought it for the components to put on my kids road bike.

I think I scored.

All it does is measure your current heart rate and tell time.

Not used, but the package had been taped back together. It doesn't use a chest strap.

Update! Another thirft store fine, although not a Goodwill Store. I found a Topeak child seat and trunk rack for $6 at St. Francis Thift Store in Hilton Head, SC. Seat and rack are in excellent shape. No rust, no cracks, belts in great condition, and the padding is clean and intact. The only things missing are nuts and bolts to attach it to a bike.

The baby isn't due until late May, and he/she won't be able to use it until next spring, but a buy like this is hard to come by.
