I've got a few problems with the ad itself.
Kryptonite Bike Chain
Retail: $65.00
Bought it For My Bike. Moved to Queens. Can't Ride a Bike in Queens
Condition: Excellent.
Problems: Only One Key.
Any questions email me.
1. I didn't know you can't ride a bike in Queens. When did this ban happen?
2. He says it only has one key. In fact it has many. As many as Bic can produce that is.
On a serious note...Is purchasing this chain worth it if I get another manufacturer's lock? Or should I just consider buying some of the other recommended locks?

If you don't mind the wait and as long as the owner has registered it with Krypto, with one working key you can register with krypto to get a brand new replacement.
Regardless, $19 is still a bargin for the chain part, even if you toss the lock or replace it.
