Back under the saddle.

Not me, my old Bianchi. About 20 years ago my mum bought me this bike because I wanted to ride to school. We bought it used for $150. I rode it for 3 years then graduated highschool and parked the machine in my dad's garage. I moved out, got married, got a dog and now have a son. I took the bike from Dad's garage to mine, where it's been hanging from the ceiling for about 5 years. I took it down last week and cleaned it up. Yesterday I put new tubes, tires, and a chain on it and took it for a quick spin to the grocery store. What an awesome ride that was. I just started commuting on my mountain bike last week, and I'm glad I never got rid of the old roadie. I expect my truck will spend a little more time in the drive way than before. Just need to get fenders and a rack on that thing and I'm good to go.

Welcome to the forum! You should stop by the Classic & Vintage forum, they'd love to see a photo of your Bianchi.

"Roadie" is the a rider, not a bike. It's a road bike. You are becoming a roadie.

Good to hear it. Stop by the Commuting forum if you want suggestions on fenders, racks, how to carry stuff, or anything else.
