Delivery guys unite!
Yup, its not just for mexican prep cooks anymore. I deliver for a small falafel restaurant in park slope. We have a large delivery radius and i often ride about 20 to 25 miles a day. It can be quite thrilling to try and beat old times, impress my boss and customers with speed, etc. Our occupation is about 1/10 as glamorous as messengering, but it beefs up the thighs and my former messenger coworker says he makes more delivering than messengering. On a good night i can pull in 15-20 bux an hour in tips and pay. Anyone else deliver on a bike or are thinking about it?

That is great pay and I didn't know bicycle delivery could be worth that much. I did better than that bar tending for awhile, as far as the pay goes. Not much exercise but at least I was on my feet instead of my rear end in front of a puter.
I can't do it in the area I'm in, but nice to hear anyway.
