The most stupid thing I have done on a bike was to continue to ride a DF bike when I could have been riding a recumbent. One 6 block ride on a Rans Tailwind immediately convinced me that I was riding the wrong type of bike.

I still shudder. I crossed a highway yesterday without looking behind me. No sound of approaching cars, so I did it. Damned stupid.
