Today on Cragislist ..

I saw a bike for real men:

How about continuing this thread with entertaining ads you saw on ebay or craigslist?

Bikes: '94 RS Bikes Stampede (commuter), Scattante XRL Team road bike (formerly '05 Cannondale R5000), '05 Cannondale Prophet 1000

I saw this gem the other day:

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bik/3580676356.html

GT Mountain Bike - $170 (Stone Mountain)
This bike is the most heavy duty bike i have ever seen.
It rides like a monster... but there is a down side.
It is pretty heavy so only bigger, stronger people will
be able to ride it.
It is a really good bike though.
I bought it for $300+.. but didn't ride it enough to keep it.
Serious offers only.

I saw what I thought was a funny typo on craigslist: "Surly Neck Romancer". That is the actual name of the model!

That's actually kinda cool! If he threw in a can of WD40 to use as aftershave -I might go for it!
But seriously - after a quick tour of some of the forums there - I have a lot less faith in the future of the human race.

Yep... they've needed to change the name a couple of times to avoid copyright issues (apparently "Necromancer" had already been used for a bike.)
