Hmm, I see others posted about the same thoughts as I but yet you choose me to follow around like a little puppy. Wow, whatever lube I'm using must work if it keeps you attracted to me ha ha ha!

OK, go sniff some more lube, pretty silly topic and even more so that you drag it on about lubes with a second thread. You got something for lubes like it's a new found drug, sheesh!
I don't know about you but riders actually use lube to protect their equipment and don't sit around worrying about how pretty it smells. Especially when you can't smell it while riding. IF you do, then you really need to reassess your riding habits.
I'm looking forward to your "which is inner tube smells the prettiest" thread.

You should go to your LBS and sniff all the lubes to find the one you enjoy the most. Be sure to take a BIG whiff and hold it as long as you can then move on to the next without taking any un-lubed air in. This is important! Please let us know the results.

Wellll...For most it's likely not a significant issue, but some people keep bikes in places where unusual odors might be undesirable. I used to keep a bike (or two) in my office at work. If you keep a bike in the back of your car during the day for an after work ride, the odor can build up. And of course, things smell differently and with different intensity to different people. https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releas...-wel072513.php

Interesting link, Looigi, though I suppose smell sensitivity has to do with more than genes.
Mr. Beanz, the self-proof of silliness does not need repetitions. If Mr. Beanz and RPK79 had a tad more brains than a smelly chain, they would have known there are better places for them to waste their lives than around this thread.
