Solid, affordable 27"/700c/29er frame?

I just cracked my frame, and want to re-use pretty much all the existing parts. I'm running knobby 700x35 tires and so I believe I'd need a 700c or 29er frame. I'm going to be carrying a good deal of weight on the rear rack and I want a bike that's bombproof. I'm looking to get something used to save money, and haven't really found anything on eBay or craigslist. Everything seems to be super expensive. Does anyone have any advice?

I'm considering anything from full suspension bikes to old steel road bikes. Durability (and a large size frame) is really all I care about.

Bikes: Surly Ogre // (old and gone) Cannondale ST400, Rockhopper Sport

What is a good deal of weight in some form of measurement unit?

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

Hard to beat the Pake C'mute frame for a combination of quality and price in a bike that can take fat tires: https://store.somafab.com/pacfrfoset.html
$360 from Soma. If the OP shops around, the frame and fork can be had for less. The bike is made of double butted steel and can take 35c tires and fenders. Nice bike and a solid value.

Nashbar has Touring, Cyclocross (,Mountain) and Road frames at good prices.

(I bought the Touring frame although it's not built up yet. It comes with the derailleur cable guide and derailleur hanger. Although it doesn't come up with cable stops, Shimano Ultegra 8 speed bar end shifters come with cable stops.)

Cambriabike and Chainreactioncycles also have various frames.

Note: NYC (OP) whole buildings are not bombproof , if someone desires to destroy .
