So I'm on my morning commute about 1/4 mile from work and feeling good when the spindle on my pedal magically unwinds itself from my crank and I ended up a split second away from plowing into the road ... I screwed it back in with my hand so I could get to work but I think an o-ring or something fell off because I heard it clank but couldn't find it :\ ....

I should have taken that as an omen but didn't, when I got to work me and some co-workers decided to play a pickup game of ball and I ended up rolling my ankle ... thankfully the ligament didn't seperate from the bone but this is a reocurrance of an old injury and if it doesn't start feeling better over the weekend I'm going to have to have an MRI done on it ... in any event I wont be able to get back on the bike for at least a week or two (best case scenario) ...

And I didn't write this expecting pity, I just needed to vent somewhere
