There are no bike shops in Rome, it's official. Well, I couldn't find any anyway, I was qiute disappointed. But I only looked right in the centre of town, mostly on the east side of the river (basically everything you can see on a small tourist map). I'm sure there must be at least one bike shop in Rome, I just couldn't find it.

Have a great trip.

I hope you let us know if you find any good deals. I was in Rome over Thanksgiving and the exchang rate was awful ($1.33 to 1 Euro). I didn't see any deals or any bike shops. It was a great trip and I'd love to return.

Have fun.

Even though you are looking for products produced by Italian companies it still might be cheaper to purchase what you would like in the States. The dollar is REALLY low, and many times products that are produced in Europe are sold cheaper in the States than in Europe.
