PLEASE HELP:posting pics question from newbie

Can I upload pics directly to forum.And if so how?
Or do i need to use an image hosting service?if so what is commonly used here and is it free?
I use we-tod-did-racing.com for my car stuff,will that work here too?

Use the icon that looks like mountains to link to a pic that's out on the Internet somewhere. Here's a pic of the Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska.
Or, you can upload one directly from your PC using the 'Additional Options' below the text field when you're creating a post. Like this (Note, there's a size limit for uploaded files):

Also when you have a picture on the internet, left click with your mouse (hold down mouse on a mac) and go to properties and it says adress on the little screen high light the url copy it and then press the mountain button in Bike Forums and pastein the url and voila!
