Feb 17th I ordered $87 worth of merchandise online. Feb 21st the order status at Performance said they sent it by DHL Smart Mail ,which surprised me because I ordered it standard rate. Every time I pushed (track it) it said the number wasn't valid. I waited 2 weeks, still no package. I called Performance and they said no,they sent it USPS. OK thats what I wanted becauce I'm never home to catch the drivers for FedEx, UPS or DHL. Its a big hassel to have to go to their depots and wait for their drivers to come back in late at night. I like USPS so I can just wait for the package notice and pick it up a the post office.
I wait 14 business days and still no package. I call Performace again. I had to wait for them to send me a Delivery Claim Form. I have to mail it back now.
What SUCKS is that most of the stuff I ordered was clearance stuff and if they don't find this renegade package, I guess they will be out of these items by now. Probably refund without the shipping like usual when they can't get an item.
OK I feel better now that I vented

Well, it's not performance, but it's a performance subsidiary (I guess).

Nashbar effed up my order with the nitwit that placed my order. I gave that idiot my credit card info two times on the phone, and they sat on it for three and a half days before they decided to let me know that for some reason they couldn't place the order. So I call the idiots back, and they're reviewing my credit card info, and guess what? The nitwit entered my info wrong (wrong date). So I give them the credit card info, and it's been a week, and still... no package.

Dumb idiots. If I don't get that package tomorrow, I'm going to raise a stink with them. It's not my fault someone is too stupid to write down information that's told to them TWICE.

Bikes: Too many 80s roadbikes!

This is exactly why I never let anyone I don't trust handle my package.

That really sucks about performance, I have been using them for about a yerar now and i have never had a problem. You sure weathewr didnt have some roll (probably not just decided to put it on the table )

Good luck Hilly Man, and Koffe with your shipping!

I had the same problem with Performance. The tracking number was invalid. I contacted DHL, and they weren't able to decipher the number that Performance gave me. Contacted Performance, and they weren't any help, told me to wait, delivery would take 7-10 business days. This was 15 days after the order was placed! Fortunately, my package showed up today, three weeks after the order was placed. I've ordered from Nashbar several times with no problems, and this is the first time I've had an issue with Performance. Hope you get your items soon.

Unfortunatly, these things happen. I hope you get your money worth in the end. Use your bargaining power, ask them to give you a life-time discount coupon, then.... post the code on BF's hot deals!....

Never had a problem, but mine have always came FedX. This last one I said work address & they delivered to home, but some reason FedX even left without a signature.
