Get a car Part Deux

Decided that I'd take a trundle out to the North today. Last night was the first night in 12 years I hadn't needed pain killers to get to sleep and I felt great. I surpised even myself in getting across town in about ten minutes. At that point I headed the Giant up Mnt Massive. As I was wondering why they had to build Armidale in a pit I got yelled at. "Get a car, a life and a brain mate". I laughed my arse off as I noticed that they were driving in the wrong lane.

Got most of the way up the hill when I heard that unmistakable click of a deraileur. Two Spandex lads trundled passed me. I let 'em go. I wasn't going to race back passed in my baggy shorts and MTB and embarass them. After all, one of them was on a Giant road bike.

Got a little way out of town and saw how far I had to go to get to my mate's vineyard and changed my mind "get a car I thought" then turned around and got the legs pumping.

I'm having a great day and my daughter's sick of hearing about it so I'll tell you

Some new flicktures on my site if yer interested.

And who really needed to 'get a brain' here, HaagenDas? Not YOU...

That was most thoughtful of you...after all you wouldn't want to discourage them, now???

What a party-pooper! Doesn't your daughter know that she needs to show respect to her DAD?
Straighten her out, man...!!

It's wierd, it really is. I feel like I have so much energy. I probably couldn't even get around the block right now but I feel as though I could .. and more. I'm even pretty chirpy, sort of humming and smiling. Surely bike riding can't do that for you. It has to be the night free of drugs.

Counting the hours till bed time now. Can't wait to see if I can do it again.
