Computrainer Like Software
Not sure where this post belongs but our shop is looking software that is similar to Computrainer or Racermate software.
Is there any software available that will compile ANT+ compatible devices and show the data on a screen for all to see? There has to be something out there that doesn't require you to purchase computrainers and all of their hardware.
We have a bunch of people with power meters and Garmin head units that would love to do indoor spinning and track each others efforts on a projection screen.
Here is an image of what Computrainer spits out.

Computrainer controls the resistance and regulates the power level for each rider via the trainer to emulate the climbs/descents of actual rides as shown on the TV. There's also a video game type activity where you see avatar riders on the screen and resistance is controlled by the CG terrain and by how close you're drafting. These are the attractions of using Computrainers and group Computrainer sessions. Simply displaying what individuals are doing on there separate bikes and trainers is a lot less interesting.

Less interesting? Yes. Still fun and captivating for the price? I'd also say yes.
The video game like activity could be replicated. That's what I'm trying to figure out. How accurate is the drafting feature? If you have up to 8 riders competing in the group race how much easier or difficult is it making it for the riders? Does this change dependent upon how "fast" you're going?
