Hi, im doing a senior project that is to innovate an all-in-one tool for bikers, mostly for bikers who need a quick adjustment or to fix a problem on the go. I wanted peoples input on what are the most important tools as a biker and what should be incorporated into this product. thanks

If you are talking about one to bring on rides, search bicycle multi-tool and you will find a plethora of all-in-one tools. Select the features that are most common, and away you go. If you are talking about home use, it is far more efficient to have specialized tools for each use.

In short, my favorite multi-tools include:

A few appropriate sized allen wrenches
Phillips screwdriver (for derailleur adjustment etc)
Spoke wrench
Chain tool
Tire irons

Bonus points for compact and light weight.

Most everything gets used very infrequently if at all... and if not listed above, is probably never going to get used on a ride.

It should be noted, that almost anything bicycle related seems to be more widely accepted if it has a bottle opener. There is a need to ensure efficient access to a post-ride (or mid-ride) beverage. The bike rack I use on my car came with a bottle opener built in.
