Rola hitch rack lock core

I know this is a long shot compared to usual BF topics.

I got a Rola 2-bike hitch rack, used. This rack has a built-in cable lock, for which the key was not included. Is the core removable like, say, a Yakima roof rack lock? I have no idea how to tell. I'm ready to take it to a locksmith to figure it out but I'm pretty sure this will annihilate the savings from buying used. If the answer is no, I'll probably figure out how to remove it, and replace it with a not-built-in lock.

You got the right Idea, take it to a locks smith , you bought a lock without the key, rendering useless, so now you have have to pay ,
