Doing the Driftless

Vacation starts tomorrow, and I am planning to do a lot of riding in Wisconsin's Driftless Area. This is the area untouched by the last glacier leaving the landscape with few natural lakes and plenty of rolling, hilly land. Because it is rural, and Wisconsin paves most of the rural roads, makes for some of the best bike riding in the country! I try and get some riding in each year, and this year I have a whole week planned. Trempealeau County has many scenic loops mapped out, and Explore La Crosse has a bunch of routes through RideWithGPS.com ambassador program. The weather is supposed to be ideal, and I am ready to go!

See you out there!
