I will be riding again this year, which will be my 7th. Looking to do the 5 day UP route and experiencing a nice relaxing ride across the bridge. I have ridden the bridge twice, but with the old format it was wheel to wheel, verrrrrry low speed, and almost dangerous. Hoping for good weather once again!!

This is my second. I rode the bridge on my first, back in 2003, and considered doing the UP route this time, but the standard 5-day works out better. Hopefully, they'll continue to offer the UP route and I'll be able to ride it some other year.

Man, I know this thread is older, but I'm completely bummed out about DALMAC. I registered, got my letter and then had to back out. The only "event" ride I have scheduled now is CFC in Ohio (late September).

Okay, I may be breaking some internet-user-group-forum-rule-book-thing by posting so much to my own thread, but I don't care. I'm excited! Only eight more days! I bought some matching, garishly blue, cheap duffle bags yesterday and I'm planning on installing the handlebar bag, rack, rack trunk and computer, tonight.
Based on my current training schedule, I should double my training miles by lunch on the first day. But, I commute every day, so I'm not worried about my knees, at least. Just my ass. Damn. Oh, well. I'm still excited.
